The National Network of Public Health Institutes Set to Launch New Microsite to Celebrate Two Years of Project Firstline Partnership
NNPHI and Several National Partners Continue to Work Together on Project Firstline, a CDC-Led Initiative to Train Healthcare and Public Health Workers on Infection Prevention and Control

WASHINGTON, DC — The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) is announcing its continuing participation in a nationwide effort to provide online training modules to healthcare workers on the frontlines of infection control by announcing the launch of a new resource website dedicated to Project Firstline, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) national training collaborative for infection prevention and control (IPC).
Project Firstline helps prepare and educate healthcare workers and the public health workforce to protect themselves, their patients, and their communities from infectious disease threats with various resources, from training webinars to collect data. While NNPHI continues to leverage and engage its extensive network and deep relationships in the public health sector to engage professionals across the country in this critically important initiative, CDC and other partners will also bring experience in infection control to this training collaborative.
